Publishing Online?

So lately I've had a reoccurance of conversations about our book, which led me to consider alternate possibilities to the standard way of publishing. I don't know anything about self-publishing online, but my sister-in-law has scanned the entire book, so it is now in electronic format. I think we ought to just publish online, and that way it's finally out there for all to read. I'm not sure how to do this, but I'll begin looking in to it and keep posting here to let you know what's happening. If you check this blog, keep it up and I do read each and every post, so if you need to write something, know that at least one person will validate your truth. :)

Revisiting "The Book"

So I somehow stumbled upon a conversation with a few of my students the other day about the whole book fiasco and I just wanted to reiterate how freaking proud I am of what you all wrote in those pages and that I lost my job fighting for your/our freedom of speech. I would do it again a thousand times and my only regret is not being able to get them published. Somehow, sometime I do believe they will get out there in the hands of those young adults that most need to know they are not alone, but I am learning that "my time" is not always the right time.
So again, thank you all so much for having the courage and depth to let your secrets/fears/desires/wants/feelings out into the light for others to see. That is a rare and beautiful step to take; one most adults will never have the guts to do.

Just popping in to check on any new posts and make sure I respond if I can. Hope all is well and, as usual, if you are reading this, take a minute to post something. It is always good to hear from you!

Obviously I don't but once a year or so, but only because no one else does so there is nothing to moderate! If you happen to swing by anytime in the future, drop a post to let us all know how you are. It's been too long since the "Catharsis" Incident. ;) All Hail Unjust Rule-breakers!!!!!!
